Our R&D unit has a team of high qualified engineers and technicians with several years of experience on radio frequency devices' development. This jointed to the fact of having a perfectly equipped laboratory with the state of the art electrical instrumentation and the most advanced software tools (RF simulation tools, FPGA programming tools, numeric simulation, digital signal processing, etc.), lets us develop high performance and low cost products.
At present, the transition from analogue TV to Digital Television is one of our main bets. For that reason, we have focused our efforts on developing a full range of low power and low cost, but with very high performance, repeaters (gap-fillers).
These kinds of devices are orientated to spread the coverage to small towns or villages were there is DVB-T signal on their edge but not in town centre.
If we talk of spreading the coverage to irregular orographies and small shadow areas, there appear different needs from those satisfied for the high power transmitters and repeaters. In these cases, the low power repeaters (gap-fillers) give an output level that is enough to cover areas of until 5 kilometres wide. At the same time, using these kind or repeaters we guarantee the Spanish laws in matter of DVB-T coverage spreading to be fulfilled as well as the European dispositions.
